New life for your outdoor space.
Butterfly System Alba
The Alba Butterfly is an Alba version that uses the new pantograph folding canvas cover system developed by Corradi.
The maximal dimensions of the single 4-pillar module - 550 x 715 cm - and a particularly high-performance water drainage system certainly make the Alba Butterly ideal for contract applications, although it is also designed for the residential sector.
The pillars remain the same as those of the bioclimatic version of the Alba and measure 11 x 11 cm, while the beam, which houses a large gutter with respect to the blade cover, has dimensions of 12.2 x 8.7 cm.

Water-tightness
The results, which are particularly relevant, indicate that rain-proofing performance is substantially greater than that indicated by the standard (EN 13561:2015), which expresses Class 2 with a value of 56 l/h/m2. In fact, values up to 300 l/h/m2 were achieved, equivalent to approximately 11,000 l/h at the cover's maximal dimensions.
The full-radius curved canvas supporting tubes guarantee the optimum water-tightness of the cover. The rain water drainage system has been designed to drastically reduce the possibility of dripping inside the pergola.
-40% encumbrance
The folding of the retractable canvas is achieved thanks to Butterfly, a new pantograph system with aluminium rods that support the canvas tubes. In this way, the fabric folds upwards leaving the entire space underneath free, unlike the Pergotenda® system which folds downwards.
The pantograph technology considerably minimises the encumbrance of the canvas when fully folded, reducing the size by up to 40% compared to similar sized Pergotenda® systems.
More strength with curved canvas and perimeter gutter
Alba Butterfly pergola canvas supporting tubes utilise a continuous radius curvature, which makes the system more robust and promotes rain water runoff.
The perimeter gutter of the Alba Butterfly was designed by integrating some interesting innovations. The dimensions, 12.2 x 8.7 cm, allow almost double the load capacity of the adjustable blade version.
In addition, the section has a double chamber that allows perimeter closures or accessories to be fastened without compromising water tightness.
The inner surface of the gutter is slightly curved and sloping to guide the flow of water into the conveyors and pillars.
The cover canvas is positioned coplanar to the perimeter gutter on the Alba Butterfly: this prevents the return of drops inside the structure even during heavy storms.
Alba Butterfly can be completed with closures from the Corradi range.
MyGlass, Aura, Magiko B, Brio S can be installed but, as with the blade version of Alba, the runners and protection cassettes are not integrated into the beams and pillars of the structure.
The gutter can be fitted with a continuous LED light around the entire inner perimeter (optional), fixed on the corner profile of the gutter, which, in the absence of lights, is finished with a profile.
